I thought the clock activity was fun and interesting i definitely met new people that i didn't know and i got to learn more about those i did know. I'm not really sure what the 3 words are supposed to be about but I'll choose: exciting, interesting and informative.
It was in interesting thing...Even though we've done this almost every year since grade school, i still find it hard to just talk for a minute w/o the othe person responding...there were a lot of scilent moments...so my 3 words will have to be...: Interesting, dificult, and awkward.
The activity was interesting and fun. It was a way to deveolp listening skills and getting to know each other. My three words are interesting, complex and difficult.
I remember doing this event in 6th grade so I was amused. It was interesting that a lot of the time, I wasn't quite sure what to say besides the basic "I have a _(fill in the blank)_" and proceed to describe said object, person, or thing. I actually rather ask questions to the other person instead of talking about myself.
I have never done an activity like the clock we did on Friday. I met more people and found common interests. I'm not the one to talk non-stop, so talking for a minute straight was challenging at times. It was fun to do something different and learn a lot about people in the class! Challenging. Different. Listening.
I thought this activity was fun, but I think it was really hard not to think about anything except what my partner was saying. I remember what they say better by relating myself to them.
I thought that this activity was very interesting. We got to meet new people and even though it was akward at first, I soon got comfortable talking to people that I didn't know too well. new, interesting, fun
I've done the clock activity in previous classes so it wasn't something new, but i still enjoyed getting to know the people in the class. beneficial, enjoyable, relaxing
I really enjoyed the clock activity because it let us get to know people we didn't know very well and we learned new things about them. It also allowed us to become more comfortable with our class!! *interesting, helpful, funny
I have never done an activity like this before. At first I got nervous and scared because I didn't know what I was going to say, but as we actually broke up into partners it wasn't so bad. It allowed me to get comfortable around our classmates and to get to know them.
The clock activity was fun and interesting. I like how it forces you to talk to people who you wouldn't talk to normally. It gives a new percpective of others, and it teaches you to try to get to know a person becauss what they say is important, and deserves a listening ear. My three words are fun, intriging, learning.
I've actually done this activity before with a different gym class and I think its a really good way to get to know everyone in the class. I learned a lot about others in the class that I wouldn't have know if we didn't do this activity. My 3 words are: fun, helpful, and interesting.
i thought the clock activity was interesting and something that i havent ever done before. It was sort of akward not being able to have a conversation but to just listen but it was fun.
I would have to use difficult, awkward and redundant. We've done some sort of activity like this at the beginning of every school year since elemtary school but it still seems necessary since I found it difficult to talk to someone that I didn't know well.
I have been teaching since 1995. I started teaching at Winston Campus Junior High in Palatine. In 2001 I began teaching at Fremd. I am an assistant golf and wrestling coach. I have also coached boys gymnastics and I was a sponsor for Powder Puff Football and Outdoor Adventure Club. I am the 4th child of 5, 3 older sisters and 1 younger brother. I am married and I have two great boys 2 1/2 year old and a 5 week old. Chase and Brody. I love it when I come home and chase yells out "DADDY" and has a big smile on his face and is coming to hug me.
