I don't really have any concerns or questions at the moment. I'm excited to climb and find it exciting. I trust my group to catch me, and i think i trust myself to catch others.
i don't have any concerns or questions, but i think it is just so much fun to watch classmates climbing and helping each other. I just cannot wait to climb !!
I dont really have any concerns or questions. Im actually really looking forward to climbing, Im just a little bit scared. But, I think after I climb a bit, it will be more fun than scary. (:
Climbing was really fun on Friday! I'm excited to climb to the top & challenge myself while climbing. The one thing that I'm concerned about is that there is so much going on at the same time, when I was belaying, I had to make sure I was focused on the climber and nothing else. I just want everyone to be focused on their group, not what is happening on another wall.
I just don't want us to become too placid about safety that we make careless errors. I haven't climbed yet because I wasn't here Friday, but I'm looking forward to it and hope that all will go well.
I dont really have any questions or concerns. I think that we all need to trust each other and not get lazy when it comes to safety. Im excited to start climbing because I think i will be lots of fun~
I am not worried about climbing. My only fear is how to get proper footing. I had a hard time getting my feet to stay on the rock. My foot kept slipping and I kept on falling. Except for that I am already to climb.
I'm just really excited to get to climb on an actual wall, because i reallllly didn't like the net thing. I'm glad that we're all pretty good at balaying, so I'm not worried about someone messing up.
I'm really excited to start climbing because I had a chance to climb a couple of years ago but I only went 2 feet before going back down. I want to be able to say that I climbed all the way to the top.
I don't have any questions, but I'm extremely concerned about climbing. I know that I'm safe and that I can trust my classmates, but even when I just barely got off the ground I started freaking out and couldn't figure out where to put my feet and hands, and even when others were helping me, I couldn't get myself to move my feet and hands where I had to if I didn't think I was strong enough. Even though I was freaking out, Im looking forward to overcoming this fear and really starting to climb.
I thought climbing was really fun last friday. My only concern is that I do a good job on the safety procedure, tying the knots, but I trust that my classmates will help me if I have trouble making the knots. Other than that I am excited to keep climbing.
I'm concerned about climbing just because I don't have the strength to lift myself up on the rocks. That's the only problem I have because I'm not worried about my classmates catching me when I fall. Hopefully I will get better at climbing and get to the top!
I'm not particularly worried about falling, but I am a little concerned at if I can actually climb (I'm very slow and unsteady) and I have a slight fear of heights so... I think everything will go smoothly once I climb more often
The only thing that I'm slightly concerned about is that the belayer might not be able to hold the climber up. Besides that, no worries. Let's climb on. :)
uhmm, im was really scared when i tried to climb over the little bump thingy, and it reaaaaaaaaallllllly makes you use your arms a lot. im just concerned that ill fall. hahah even though the belayer is there. it's just a scary thought. alsooo, my arms hurts. hahaha
I'm not worried about climbing and belaying with my group. I'm really excited to climb and try new things. Today was a lot of fun even though I was a bit nervous jumping off of the beam. I think everyon should try it atleast once!
i'm excited to climb to the top, but i'm scared to climb over the overhangs. and i'm a little nervous to fall because it seems like some people aren't paying attention every second. i just don't wanna fall!
I don't really have any concerns. Everyone is doing a great job and I feel like if I fell they would catch me, although there is always that lingering fear that if I do fall something will go wrong, but thats just my fear of heights.
I have been teaching since 1995. I started teaching at Winston Campus Junior High in Palatine. In 2001 I began teaching at Fremd. I am an assistant golf and wrestling coach. I have also coached boys gymnastics and I was a sponsor for Powder Puff Football and Outdoor Adventure Club. I am the 4th child of 5, 3 older sisters and 1 younger brother. I am married and I have two great boys 2 1/2 year old and a 5 week old. Chase and Brody. I love it when I come home and chase yells out "DADDY" and has a big smile on his face and is coming to hug me.

ReplyDeleteI don't wanna climb all the way to the top :/ I'm a little rusty on tying the knots but other than that I think this will be fun.

ReplyDeleteMy only concern is that some people do not want to climb and we have to push them just to get up the wal and eliminate there fear of heights.
